This is a role well suited for a highly motivated student looking to build their skill set and gain hands-on experience. As a Scientist/Engineer Assistant Co-op, you will be responsible for:

Performing daily maintenance of on-market competitor instruments to ensure their functioning order and calibrated state.

Testing electrochemical sensors using the epoc blood analysis system in aqueous and blood samples.

Performing first steps of analysis and assist in summarizing experiments.

Providing detailed annotation of test results so that data analyses can proceed effectively.

Executing sample preparation procedures.

Timely and appropriate communication of product performance issues or idiosyncrasies discovered during testing.

Required skills to have for the success of this role:

Lab experience and good laboratory practices.

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and statistical analysis.

Strong ability to work well in a team setting and independently.

Able to effectively manage change and shift priorities as required.

Required skills and education to have for the success of this role:

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in engineering, biochemistry, chemistry, or a related field.

Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred)

The base pay range for this position is:

Min $40,500 - Max $75,500

Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers a variety of health and wellness benefits including paid time off and holiday pay.
