Posse Trucking is a Locally Owned and Operated Canadian trucking company searching for qualified Class 1 Owner Operators and Company Drivers for our busy and established Local and Regional Flatbed Fleet.

Our fleet of Local tractors haul flat decks, step decks, lowbeds and B-Trains with our clients' freight all over the Metro Vancouver area with occasional daytrips to Vancouver Island, Lower Interior and Whistler.

Our Long Haul Operators haul into the BC Interior, Yukon, and Alberta.

If you do not have a trailer, we can supply you with trailers from our fleet. We expect that the right candidate will take pride in the work they do and respect the equipment as if it were their own.

We offer a combination of hourly work (local), flat rate, and commission-based trips. All Operators are supplied with plates (prorate or local) and Fuel Cards.

Much of the work we do is challenging and the loads are often heavy and wide so we expect our drivers to be up to the task. Drivers without the ability or experience to haul wide loads will not be considered.

Responsibilities and Duties

The duties of the Company Driver:

  • Compete pre/post trip inspections on trucks and trailers
  • Load, secure and deliver clients' freight safely and on time
  • Have a mindful and safety conscious approach to all tasks.
  • Communicate openly and clearly with dispatch staff
  • Provide excellent customer service to all shippers, receivers, customers, and other carriers.

All Owner Operators must supply clean, presentable tractor units that are appropriately spec'd to haul flatbed. Beacons, Mirror Extensions, Load Securement gear, OD signage, Tarps ect.

Qualifications and Skills

REQUIRED:

  • Class 1 Driver's License
  • 3+ years' flat deck hauling experience
  • Clean Safety and Driving Record
