We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results Geotab is seeking a Hardware Developer Intern who will be supporting the Hardware team in the design and verification of Geotab Telematics devices and/or auxiliary devices. What you'll do:

As a Hardware Developer Intern, your key area of responsibility will need to work closely with your colleagues on the Hardware team, as well as Mechanical, Embedded system, Design Verification, and Production teams. To be successful in this role you will need to be independent, detail oriented, with a keen desire to learn more.

The opportunity:

Hardware verification against board requirements and debug hardware issues.Prototyping and testing new hardware designs (ie: oscilloscope, vector network analyzer, spectrum analyzer, etc.)Writing investigation reports in a clear and readable manner.What you'll bring to the role:

Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering or Engineering Physics degree program.Familiarity with reading schematic and/or PCB layout designs.Ability to dig deep and learn without supervision.Basic knowledge of wireless communications.Experience soldering and working hands-on with electronics.Experience with Altium Designer or any other ECAD software.Experience with RF equipment.
