We are excited to be relaunching our very own Home Support Worker program for the 4th year in a row. This program is a great entry point into the healthcare field, offering

upon completion. Candidate must be Bilingual, English and French speaking.

Location: This position is based within North Bay and the surrounding areas, including Sturgeon Falls, Mattawa, Callander, Thorne, and Powassan.
What is this program all about?
You Will

• Learn the value and impact of home care in the community
• Support individuals with daily routines like bathing, dressing, eating, and personal hygiene and peri-care.
• Receive training in household management, and safe mobility practices
• Build confidence in basic health assessments and reporting
• Become a trusted member of a multi-disciplinary care team

What qualifications are needed to be successful?

• A genuine desire to work in healthcare
• A passion for helping others
• A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
• A clear Vulnerable Sector Screening check
• Strong interpersonal skills and able to connect with a variety of individuals
• Full-time availability for the entire 10- week training period
