ABOUT INFORMATION TECHNOLOGIES

IT proudly provides the computer systems, security, IT services and governance that support AGLC's businesses, including the operation & support of mission critical gaming, liquor and corporate systems running on a variety of computing platforms. IT ensures the stability and performance of a Local/Wide Area Network, which supports over 1,200 gaming locations and more than 2,000 computers/tablets, 150 physical and 2,000 virtual servers distributed across six corporate offices, casinos, RECs and bingo halls. IT provides leadership in the use of information technology, data and systems to help the AGLC achieve business goals and objectives.

JOB SUMMARY

As the Team Lead, Quality Assurance, you will lead a dynamic team of test analysts within our Information Technology division. You'll be responsible for implementing best practices, managing testing activities, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality applications and systems. This role plays a critical part in supporting corporate and non-corporate projects, collaborating across teams, and contributing to the continuous improvement of QA processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the QA team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment.
  • Oversee QA activities across multiple projects and platforms.
  • Implement and manage QA tools and processes.
  • Set and review team and individual goals through feedback and performance appraisals.
  • Ensure compliance with AGLC's ITSM and Information Security policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to deliver quality solutions.
  • Provide strategic input on procurement, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Respond to audit requests and maintain accurate documentation and reporting.
SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience.
  • 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, enterprise applications, and QA tools.
  • Familiarity with architectural patterns, build management, and deployment processes.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage cross-functional initiatives, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to present technical ideas in user-friendly language.
