Join our dynamic team as a Pump Technician and become a vital contributor to our manufacturing facility's operational excellence In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of pumping systems and related mechanical and electrical equipment. Your expertise will ensure the smooth flow of operations, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards across the facility. We're seeking a motivated professional with a passion for industrial maintenance and a knack for technical problem-solving to help us deliver top-tier performance every day.

Job Responsibilities

  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in pumps and related equipment.
  • Perform repair, rebuilding, and maintenance on pumps (centrifugal, submersible, diaphragm, gear, etc.)
  • Disassemble and reassemble pump components with attention to detail
  • Replace bearings, seals, impellers, shafts, O-rings, and other components
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and system manuals to execute repairs efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace
  • Operate shop tools such as hydraulic presses, pullers, grinders, and torque tools

Experience

  • Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
  • Previous experience in pump repair, mechanical repair, or industrial maintenance (preferred)
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot
  • Familiarity with schematics and technical manuals
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment used in pump repair
  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
