Responsibilities:

  • Teach small-group classes and one-on-one lessons for students in Grades 1–8 across multiple subjects, including English, Math, and Science.
  • Create customized lesson plans tailored to each student's learning goals, strengths, and academic level.
  • Use interactive and engaging teaching strategies to enhance students' language skills and build their confidence.
  • Evaluate student performance regularly and provide timely, detailed feedback to support ongoing progress.
  • Cultivate a supportive, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment that inspires students to achieve their best.

Requirements:

  • Subject expertise: Strong command of English, with solid knowledge of reading, writing, grammar, and vocabulary instruction.
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in English Literature or a related discipline with a solid grasp of key literary concepts.
  • Empathy and patience: A genuine passion for teaching young learners and guiding their academic and personal growth.
  • Classroom management: Skilled at maintaining an organized, engaging, and well-structured learning environment.
  • Personalized instruction: Able to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and provide individualized support.
  • Collaborative mindset: Team player who contributes positively to a supportive teaching community and assists colleagues when needed.
  • Adaptability: Open to new instructional techniques, technologies, and evolving curriculum standards.
  • Communication skills: Builds strong, respectful relationships with students, parents, and peers.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
