What you'll be doing

Join us for Hear Quebec's holiday event, a festive dinner that will bring together friends, supporters, and members in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. This special evening will celebrate 45 years of empowering individuals with hearing loss, honor the people who make Hear Quebec extraordinary, and look forward to the exciting future of accessibility and inclusion.

Volunteer Roles & Schedule for Event
SET UP

• Time: 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM
• Number of Volunteers Needed: 5
• Notes: Help with decorating the space, setting up tables, arranging technology, and other event preparations.

SERVERS

• Time: 3:00 PM - 6:30 PM
• Number of Volunteers Needed: 5
• Notes: Serve food, ensure guests are taken care of, and help maintain a smooth flow during the event.

KITCHEN

• Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (TBC)
• Number of Volunteers Needed: 5
• Notes: The food will already be prepared, but volunteers will assist with plating and organizing the food for serving.

CLEAN UP

• Time: 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
• Number of Volunteers Needed: 10
• Notes: Assist with cleaning up after the event, including clearing tables, packing up supplies, and ensuring everything is returned to its proper place.

PHOTO BOOTH

• Time: 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM (or based on availability)
• Number of Volunteers Needed: 1-2
• Notes: Must have a photography background. Capture fun moments at the photo booth and ensure guests enjoy the experience.

Volunteer Information & Guidelines

• Check-In and Volunteer Arrival
• Volunteers should arrive 15 minutes before their shift to check in and receive any last-minute instructions.

Dress Code & Comfort

• Dress according to your volunteer task
• Smart-casual attire (all black, if possible).
• Comfortable shoes
