At this time, we are looking for someone with existing recent experience working as a bread baker (at least 1 year) as we are entering into a period of growth and change.

As a full-time baker, you will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week, or an average of 8 hours per day, 5 days/week.

As a bread-baker, you are responsible for:

Executing the production of bread from mixing all the way through to baking. This includes: reading and following recipes precisely, having a knowledge of baking techniques, using kitchen equipment such as ovens and mixers.

Ensuring product quality and consistency; the baker is expected to develop an understanding of the quality standards that have been established at our workplace.

Working closely with other departments team to ensure production is on schedule, meets quality standards, and that orders are filled appropriately. Our service team relies on the broad knowledge and expertise of the baking staff, and so trained bakers are expected to have a solid understanding of our products, processes, and capabilities.

Ensuring the bakery and baking equipment is clean and well-maintained, in an effort to protect public safety and worker safety.

Pay: $22.00 per hour
