As a Landscape Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces through effective gardening and horticultural practices. Reporting to the Landscape Supervisor, you will utilize core skills in landscape maintenance to ensure the health and beauty of various landscapes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and weeding to ensure a well-kept garden.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools for planting, pruning, and maintaining various plants and shrubs.
  • Collaborate with team members to execute landscaping projects efficiently.
  • Follow safety guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times.

This is a permanent and effectively salary position, the workday starts at 9 AM and finishes around 4:00- 4:30 PM.

We are looking for a candidate with a valid Class 5 License and reliable vehicle to drive to locations (this is a covid workaround, mileage is paid and you will never need to carry equipment in your vehicle).

We are looking for someone who is:

· Reliable, respectful, honest, and punctual

· Enjoys the outdoors and is willing to work in less than perfect weather (we won't work if the weather is bad)

· Physically fit (load and unload mowers, empty bags of grass, able to lift and carry 50 pounds)

· Willingness to learn new skills

· Self motivated

· Able to work independently, or as part of a team

We offer:

· $21-24/ hr. start, depending on experience. Frequent performance bonuses and increases
