World Swing is a Canadian-owned company located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. Our unique facility is an upscale virtual golf and sports entertainment business with food and beverage service and a sports bar. This indoor recreational space provides a fun environment for people of all ages, and will be hosting corporate, social and private events.
Job Overview
We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic customer service representatives with flexible hours to join our team. This individual must have excellent customer service and communication skills and leadership qualities. We are looking for a candidate who is able to multi-task as well. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the vibrant voice of our company, engaging with customers and ensuring their needs are met with enthusiasm and professionalism. Your role will involve providing exceptional support in person and by phone. You will play a crucial part in enhancing customer satisfaction and loyalty by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and promoting our business.
Duties include: reserving, assisting and coordinating functions (corporate, private and schools events) on a daily basis, answering incoming calls and inquiries, greeting and contacting customers, managing cash, ensuring smooth and efficient daily operations.
- Deliver outstanding customer support by responding to inquiries in person, via phone and email with a positive attitude.
- Collecting payment for virtual golf and/or food & beverage purchases accurately
- Assist customers with information and troubleshooting issues to ensure a seamless experience.
- Engage in outbound calling to follow up on any reservations.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette while communicating effectively with diverse clientele.
Basic qualifications
- Full-time or part-time position available
- Must be able to work nights and weekends
- Fluent communication skills in English
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly
- Excellent customer service and leadership skills are needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed
- Team player and willing to help out and perform additional tasks when required
- Maintain a positive team attitude
- Attention to detail and creative abilities
- Quick problem-solving skills
- Able to perform necessary tasks
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in computer skills
- Computer and social media knowledge is an asset
- Pay is commensurate with experience
Preferred qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service or client services roles; training will be provided.
- Smart Serve certification is an asset
- Mature and experienced applicants are welcome
