Position DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced and driven HR Generalist II to support our growing manufacturing facility. In this role, you will partner closely with plant leadership to deliver core HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, training support, employee relations, and compliance. This is a hands-on role for someone eager to grow their career in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, with a focus on attracting candidates in rural and hard-to-fill markets.
- Conduct phone screens and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
- Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation to ensure a smooth start for all employees.
- Assist in developing and maintaining training documentation and support the rollout of plant training programs.
- Support employee relations by responding to employee questions and helping resolve day-to-day issues.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of employee documentation, including new hire paperwork, status changes, and personnel files.
- Partner with the Plant HR Manager on HR initiatives with compliance efforts.
- Help implement HR programs that support a growing workforce and positive workplace culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- 3+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or plant setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
