Position: Front Desk Staff – Receptionist
Hours: Part-Time (24 hours/week)
Location: Port Moody, BC.
Salary: $20-$25 depending on experience/qualifications.
Duties:
At Aeris, we believe that a client's recovery is more than just physical. Seeing a friendly face welcoming them to a safe and comfortable environment can help as well The duties of a Front Desk Staff – Receptionist will include fostering a strong relationship between the clinic and its customers, including staff, funders, and referral sources. The Front Desk Staff – Receptionist will be responsible for duties including patient intake, data entry, answering the phone, receiving faxes and e-mails, as well as invoicing and payments.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Providing excellent customer service
· Greeting clients
· Answering telephone calls
· Client intake – coordinate scheduling of clients' appointments
· Collecting payment
· Data entry and billing
· Checking and stocking inventory
· Laundry
· Corresponding with insurers (WCB, ICBC, MSP, extended medical companies).
Qualifications/Attributes/Experience
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – warm, welcoming, compassionate.
· Maintaining discretion and confidentiality in dealing with client records
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
· Strong computer skills – accuracy in data entry, client scheduling, invoicing, e-mails.
Assets:
· Experience working in a physiotherapy clinic or other health care clinics
· Experience dealing with insurers and direct billing
· Experience with Jane App clinic software
· Medical Office Assistant certification and/or equivalent experience/education.
