Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, focusing on prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various skin conditions. Duties

  • Conduct thorough medical examinations and assessments of patients to diagnose health issues.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Prescribe medications, therapies, or referrals to specialists as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance, disease prevention, and management strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Stay current with medical research, guidelines, and advancements relevant to general practice.
  • Participate in community health initiatives and outreach programs when required.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Canadian medical license to practice as a General Practitioner with a registration for practice in Alberta..
  • Proven experience in primary care or general practice is preferred but not mandatory for new graduates with strong clinical training.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with diverse patient populations.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and clinical judgment.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
