What is the opportunity?

As a Redmond & Associates Machinery Mover - Team Lead, you will be in the forefront of our day-to-day operations. You will champion the R&A brand and drive business by regularly leading and equipping a team you will be responsible for. This position does not require a degree, but 5+ years of Mover/Rigging experience is necessary. What will you do?

  • Load, unload and move industrial machines (ie. CNC Mills, Lathes, etc.), forklifts and other company equipment onto trailers on location and within our warehouse.
  • Assist Drivers to load and unload machines/equipment with the use of high-capacity forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Lead, train, and equip new Machinery Movers as they progress through our training program to become competent Movers.
  • Proactively take ownership reporting equipment performance and resolving/preventing equipment damage/malfunction when possible
  • Diligently fill out paperwork & relevant reports relating to the days' work
  • Proactively engage with clients on-site

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • 5+ years' experience moving industrial machinery
  • 5+ years' experience with rigging
  • Speak, read and write English fluently
  • Display obvious leadership qualities
  • Ability to lift 50lbs
  • Positive attitude, discipline to work hard
  • Punctual & dependable team-player
  • Demonstrated passion for learning and growing, as well as success in hands-on work
  • Drive and self-motivation
  • Ability to work flexible hours
  • Exhibit professionalism in manner and appearance.
  • Steel-Toed Safety Boots

Nice-to-have

  • Experience leading a crew
  • AZ Driver's license
  • Millwrighting experience
  • Warehousing experience
