Bannon's Auto Centre is currently seeing a motivated Automotive Apprentice to join our team

Whether you are just starting your journey or already enrolled in a 310S or 310T apprenticeship, this is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, fast-paced shop environment.

As an apprentice, you will work under the guidance of a licensed mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of mechanical systems – primarily customer vehicles and light trucks. You will be responsible for assisting with inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs, while developing your skills and knowledge in the trade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repairs under the guidance of a licensed technician
  • Perform routine maintenance on customer vehicles and shop equipment
  • Interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagrams to support accurate repairs
  • Document repair work, timesheets, and apprenticeship progress accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace and contribute to overall shop upkeep
  • Use shop systems to track work performed and parts used
  • Follow all safety protocols and company policies
  • Support other team members with various tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma
  • Enrolled in or planning to begin a 310S or 310T apprenticeship (preferred)
  • Minimum one (1) year of related hands-on experience (formal or informal)
  • Valid Ontario driver's license
  • Basic mechanic's tools are a strong asset
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude
  • Attention to detail, problem solving ability, and a team-first attitude.
