Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, ensuring efficient shipping and receiving processes, as well as maintaining inventory accuracy. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse distribution and the ability to operate various types of heavy equipment, including forklifts and cranes.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes to move products within the warehouse efficiently.
  • Perform shipping and receiving tasks, including loading and unloading trucks.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and order fulfillment.
  • Conduct order picking and packaging to prepare items for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of materials as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating heavy equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a solid understanding of warehouse distribution processes.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and cranes is essential.
  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus for troubleshooting equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with order picking, packaging, shipping & receiving processes is required.
  • Experience with AS400 or similar warehouse management systems is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary for maintaining inventory accuracy.
