Role Description

This is a part-time, on-site role for a Physiotherapist located in Markham, ON. The Physiotherapist will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing patient conditions, developing customized treatment plans, and providing hands-on therapy and rehabilitation exercises. Additional responsibilities include educating patients on injury prevention and post-treatment care, maintaining patient records, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support patients throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

  • Clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and physiotherapy treatment
  • Experience in developing and implementing rehabilitation programs
  • Ability to educate patients on injury prevention and post-treatment care
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Relevant certification and registration to practice as a Physiotherapist
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Knowledge of health services including Massage Therapy, Chiropractic care, Naturopathy, and Acupuncture is a plus
