Data Operations Analyst Co-op – Data Integrity, Brampton, ON.
In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our Stores and Operations teams, taking ownership of master data issues from investigation to resolution. This role is responsible for analyzing master data components, generating critical reports and dashboards, and directly impacting operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. Analysts thrive in a fast-paced environment, leveraging strong analytical and communication skills to drive timely and accurate solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with teams like Category Management, monitor incoming inquiries, and offer subject matter expertise to ensure efficient and accurate issue resolution.
- Provide accurate and prompt resolution for all scanning and sourcing issues, effectively addressing identified master data issues.
- Identify and analyze existing process gaps, propose opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance overall team efficiency and effectiveness.
- Leverage Python, SQL, SAP, and Excel to conduct comprehensive data research, analyze store-submitted requests, and extract meaningful insights for operational and decision-making support.
- Build and run Python programs to create reports and dashboards, ensuring stakeholders receive timely and accurate weekly updates on key performance indicators.
What you Bring:
- A positive demeanor, a great teammate with good interpersonal and partnership skills.
- Demonstrable ability to respond to new situations and work in a fast-paced work environment, detail oriented and highly organized; a self-starter.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills required for presenting to all levels within the organization.
- Experience / knowledge of SAP and working with retail master data.
- Experience working with SQL, Python, and UAT Testing is an asset.
- Post-secondary education at either the college or university level.
