The One Legal team at Equinix is seeking a Senior Compliance Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a compliance professional to join our Ethics & Compliance team and help build our next generation Ethics & Compliance program. This role reports to the Head of Ethics & Compliance and can be based in Redwood City, CA (our headquarters), Dallas, TX or Toronto, Ontario.
Responsibilities
Work closely with internal Ethics & Compliance counsel, outside counsel and consultants to manage compliance throughout the organization, ensuring that the company and its employees comply with federal and international requirements, as well as internal policies and procedures
Areas of focus include Code of Business Conduct, Whistleblower Helpline, policy management, anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions compliance, and conflicts of interest.
Triage and manage helpline cases, assist in designing remediation action plans and track remediation to closure
Design compliance program controls and manage implementation projects, such as marketing event screening and gifts, travel and entertainment tools
Distribute and assess responses to compliance surveys, such as marketing questionnaires, anti-corruption certifications, and gifts, travel and entertainment approval requests and quarterly anti-corruption certifications
Support cross-functional third-party risk mitigation activities including support of ongoing risk assessments, analysis, and due diligence
Oversee required training and track completion
Assist Ethics & Compliance team to identify, prioritize and help implement practical solutions to improve efficiencies
Support scaling of internal global compliance standards, including supporting internal compliance initiatives, conducting research and analysis, and drafting internal global compliance policies and processes
Maintain organization and documentation of compliance records
Special project work as may be assigned
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in compliance and project management in a law firm or in-house, with responsibility for a broad range of projects
Strong project management, organizational and communication skills
Experience working in a culturally diverse, global technology company a plus
Demonstrated high level of integrity, thoroughness, flexibility, initiative and teamwork
Willingness to learn and continuously develop professional knowledge in compliance subject matter

United States - Redwood City Office GHQ : 96, ,000 USD / Annual
United States - Dal Dallas : 80, ,000 USD / Annual
Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 73, ,000 CAD / Annual
Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
