Customer Service Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON

Adecco Professional is currently hiring for a temporary Customer Service Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON. Our client is an international management consulting firm supporting their client and is keen to have someone support their client as they return to a a renewed and refreshed corporate office space – right by a TTC subway stop mid-town. This in-office 4-6 week+ project is a fantastic interim opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy workload while put their exceptional customer service, administrative, coordination and attention to detail skills to work all at the same time The project does not have a hard-stop so could extend or there could be other opportunities with other clients for those who may be open to longer term work in this capacity.

NOTE
– primarily Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5pm with some requirements of Friday and periodically in the evenings so flexibility is key

Some of the responsibilities of the Customer Service Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON include, but are not limited to:

  • Set up and support the site with information/welcome stations to ensure a warm welcome
  • Post floor plans and signage for ease of discovery
  • Support desk set up (non-IT) including posting name plates/signs at workstations and office
  • Provide supplies where needed and direct them to where they can find other items around the office
  • Update floor plans as areas have been taken care of and to update the project on pending areas of coverage need
  • Be available to assist with packing/unpacking items
  • Update notes on projects; tracking attendance in and out and documenting full completion of each station using MS Office
  • Other ad hoc duties to support the project as assigned.

The qualifications for the Customer Service Coordinator job opening in Toronto, ON include:

  • At least 1+ year experience in fast paced Project Coordinator or Customer Service Administrator or related capacity
  • Polished presentation and professional, clear communication skills
  • Strengths with the Microsoft Office products; Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to navigate floor plans with confidence
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: included in this is patience, good listening, ability to quickly build rapport, strong follow up skills
  • High level of detail at all times; asking questions when unsure
  • Flexible to assist where needed
