Summary

We are seeking a skilled Journeyperson Carpenter to join our dynamic team at Shamrock Building Services Ltd. This position is essential for executing high-quality renovations and construction projects, contributing directly to our mission of delivering exceptional service and craftsmanship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, and finishing work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute projects accurately.
  • Ensure all work complies with building codes and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Assist in the training of apprentices or less experienced carpenters.

Requirements

  • Valid Journeyperson Carpenter certification or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in residential and commercial carpentry.
  • Strong understanding of building codes and safety standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
