Company Description
Founded in 2018, Charge Guys is a Canadian owned and operated, full-service electric vehicle (EV) charger distributor and installer based in Toronto with offices in Vancouver as well. We work with residential homeowners, condominiums, hotels, offices, retail businesses and fleets to help them navigate the EV Charger landscape.
Our business model is to source products directly from manufacturers and use a select team of Certified Electricians to perform our installations. We pride ourselves on supporting our clients by understanding their needs better than our competitors, and providing the right hardware, software, and services to solve their individual or business requirements.
Role Description
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious to join our growing sales team. This is a
full-time hybrid role
based in the Greater Toronto Area, with flexibility for some remote work based on performance. If you are an independent, self-starter who is unafraid of taking on new challenges, this job is for you.
The Sales Executive will build and manage a full book of business by working closely with senior sales executives and management to:
- Generate leads and build new client relationships
- Support the sales cycle from first contact through to closing
- Create and organize quotes and proposals
- Respond to client inquiries and help prospects understand the EV charger installation process
- Contribute to overall business development strategy and growth
This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their sales career who wants to gain experience in the fast-growing
electric vehicle charging and clean technology sector
. Aside from building new confidence and sales skills, this job will also give you the satisfaction of making our communities healthier by accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in our cities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and qualify potential clients in residential and commercial buildings
- Schedule and lead client meetings and site visits
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and presentations with the support of senior management
- Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
- Collaborate with installation and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction
- Consistently work toward meeting and exceeding monthly/quarterly sales goals
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of sales, business development, or customer-facing experience
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Highly driven, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Team player who also wants to work independently
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, or a related field (an asset, not required)
- Familiarity with CRM tools such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce
- Interest in electric vehicles, sustainability, or clean technology (knowledge of EV charging is a plus but not required)
- Must have a valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
