Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor to join our team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations during the night shift. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality skills, be comfortable working independently, and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Duties

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Maintain accurate records of guest information and transactions using hotel management software.
  • Perform nightly audits to ensure all financial transactions are balanced and accurate.
  • Monitor security systems and ensure the safety of guests during night hours.
  • Assist with reservations via phone or in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
  • Provide information about local attractions, services, and amenities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus.
  • Proficiency in front desk operations and familiarity with phone systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Knowledge of guest services within the hotel industry is advantageous.
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules as needed.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
