Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced L3 Support Engineer with a strong background in Advanced Java and Angular 13+ to join our application support team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing deep technical support, resolving production issues, and working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high application availability and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 (L3) support for enterprise applications built with Java (Backend) and Angular 13+ (Frontend).
  • Perform root cause analysis, bug fixing, and code-level debugging for complex production issues.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, and DevOps teams to resolve technical problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation for recurring issues and solutions.
  • Monitor application performance and proactively identify areas of improvement.
  • Work within Agile or DevOps environments to manage support tickets and prioritize tasks.
  • Ensure timely communication with stakeholders and maintain SLAs for issue resolution.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior support engineers as needed.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in Java, including OOP principles, multithreading, exception handling, and performance tuning.
  • Solid experience with Angular 13+, including components, services, RxJS, and Angular CLI.
  • Hands-on experience in debugging full-stack issues in a live production environment.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Postman, Git, JIRA, and log monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Kibana).
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, HTTP, and JSON.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Exposure to CI/CD tools and pipelines is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $45.00-$52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Work Location: In person
