Pipeline Integrity Solutions Specialist

A Taleo client is looking to fill an employee position of Pipeline Integrity Solutions Specialist. The role will act as the link between customers, sales, product management, and development teams to ensure a seamless customer experience. This role requires a deep understanding of Energy Infrastructure Data Products and the pipeline integrity technical landscape of the energy industry. Success in this role means effectively articulating technical value, supporting customer adoption, and driving alignment between customer needs and product development.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Sales Support & Product Value Communication
• Work closely with the sales team to articulate the technical value of data products and solutions.
• Conduct technical demonstrations and proof-of-concept initiatives to showcase product capabilities.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear business benefits for clients.
• Support pilot projects by ensuring prospective customers understand how solutions meet their needs.
Client Engagement & Solution Support
• Act as a technical advisor to customers, ensuring they maximize the value of solutions.
• Understand core concepts of energy infrastructure data and its impact on client workflows.
• Assist in troubleshooting complex technical and data-related issues, working closely with internal teams to resolve challenges. Collaboration with Data, Development & Product Management
• Work with the Product Management, Data and Development teams to align product features with customer needs.
• Provide feedback from clients to influence product enhancements and roadmap decisions.
• Validate requirements and participate in end-user testing to ensure product updates meet customer expectations.
• Coordinate with Development and Data teams to assess the impact of data changes on products.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of Canadian energy infrastructure data, including pipelines, facilities, and wells including pipeline integrity concepts, asset connectivity, risk assessment, and flow apportionment
• Experience working directly with upstream energy producers, midstream companies, government, and oil & gas services firms.
• Bachelor's degree or relevant Technologist-level certification in a pipeline-related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Excellent technical communication skills, capable of translating between technical and business needs.
• Ability to problem-solve creatively and provide innovative solutions to customer challenges.
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Product Management, Development, and Data teams.
