Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent/Assistant Building Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the management of rental properties, ensuring a positive experience for potential tenants while maintaining strong relationships with current residents. This position requires excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in excel and property management programs. Position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct property tours for prospective tenants, showcasing available units and highlighting key features.
  • Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other relevant documents through effective data entry practices.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries via phone and email, demonstrating exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to attract potential renters, including online listings and social media promotions.
  • Collaborate with the property management team to address tenant concerns and ensure high levels of resident satisfaction.
  • Utilize property management software such as excel for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests.
  • Perform administrative tasks including filing documents, updating tenant information, and maintaining office organization.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in property or office management or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively promote properties to potential tenants.
  • Proficiency in data entry and administrative tasks with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills to foster positive interactions with residents and prospective tenants.
  • Proficiency in excel.
  • Familiarity with property management software is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A professional demeanor with effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.
