Job Description :

Education:

University degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Management, Statistics, or a related discipline, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.

Experience:

Minimum six ((6) years' experience in the implementation of new technology and investigative review in raw data converting same into usable charts with solutions to trending problems. Experience in continuous improvement programs, process management, graphical presentations, VBA and excel to create pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization. Business Intelligence tool and graphical design experience considered an asset

Certifications or Designations:

Lean Six Sigma considered an asset

Technical Competencies:

Requires comprehensive knowledge of business administration, strong computer skills for data analyzing and knowledge of rules, procedures, operational and technical issues related to areas of responsibility.

Must have good knowledge of budgetary principles, research methods; working knowledge of computers and relevant computerized applications; and an aptitude for carrying out basic statistical analyses and developing proposals for action plans.

Must possess sound judgment; effective time management skills; superior oral communication and writing skills; team building relationships, leadership skills, investigative, analytical and problem solving abilities; well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills.

Ability to develop, recommend and implement operational and administrative policies, procedures, standards, rules and performance measures.

Background in operations and technical field, bringing forward new technology in transportation to improve rail operations, optimization techniques based on system modeling processes, network analysis including critical path method.

Analyzing and interpreting the data to optimize processes.

Engineering/technical background would be an asset,
