The Opportunity

We are currently seeking licensed Family Physicians to join Ogaei's growing virtual care network. This role is ideal for physicians looking for flexible work, reduced administrative burden, and the ability to practice medicine virtually while maintaining clinical standards.

Physicians on Ogaei provide episodic primary care, including assessments, follow-ups, referrals, documentation, and prescriptions (where appropriate), all through a secure virtual platform.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual patient visits via secure video or phone
  • Provide primary care assessments and medical advice
  • Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions
  • Prescribe medications and renew prescriptions when clinically appropriate
  • Order and review investigations and referrals
  • Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the Ogaei clinical and support teams as needed
  • Practice in accordance with CPSO standards and Ontario regulations

Clinical Systems & EMR

  • Ogaei uses Accuro EMR
  • Experience with Accuro is preferred
  • Training and onboarding will be provided for physicians who are not familiar with Accuro

We aim to minimize administrative workload and provide support so you can focus on patient care.

Qualifications

  • MD with CCFP certification
  • Active, unrestricted license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO)
  • Eligible for OHIP billing
  • CMPA membership in good standing
  • Strong clinical judgment and comfort providing virtual care
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Experience with virtual care is an asset but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $5,000.00-$7,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 9 – 12 per week
