Truman is growing and we are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead our team of Area Sales Managers across multiple communities. This role is responsible for coaching and developing the sales team, overseeing performance across all sites, and creating sales programs that support our ongoing growth. The ideal candidate is strategic, organized, and confident leading both people and process.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and support all Area Sales Managers across assigned communities

  • Develop and execute community specific and company wide sales programs

  • Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, and lead management

  • Ensure all sales files, contracts, and documentation are accurate and complete

  • Work closely with marketing on campaigns, product launches, and traffic generation

  • Maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sale, selections, and building process

  • Oversee the overall professionalism and effectiveness of all sales centres

  • Respond quickly to customer concerns and support the team in resolving issues

  • Ensure consistent use of CRM and accurate reporting

  • Collaborate with internal departments including construction, design, and legal

Requirements

  • Minimum five years of experience in sales with a proven record of success

  • Minimum two years of experience leading a team or managing multiple locations

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills

  • Ability to work a demanding schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Strong computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and CRM systems

  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and quality in all work

  • Professional presentation and strong problem solving abilities
