Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible to travel to various customer sites within GTA area and diagnose, repair, and do preventative maintenance on waste compactors and balers primarily. Communication skills and technical expertise a must . The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Duties

  • capable to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics throughout a diagnosis
  • perform any electrical or hydraulic repairs as needed
  • work independently at various sites, with ability to use communication devices such as phone or facetime to use virtual support as needed.

Qualifications

  • strong knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
  • able to troubleshoot and repair hydaulic power units that work with electrical push button stations.
  • experience with PLC logic controllers and diagnosing is an asset, but not mandatory
  • ability to do minor welding or fabricating repairs
  • ability to work independently, or as a group
  • valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
  • strong grasp of the english language with both verbal and written skills mandatory

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Milton, ON L9T 3N7
