Administrative Assistant
Amico Corporation is seeking a self-motivated, organized and highly detail-oriented individual for an Administrative Assistant role reporting to the Manager, Human Resources. This role requires strong communication skills, both written and oral, as well as the ability to work in collaboration with a large Production floor.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, have a strong work ethic, and possess fluency in both oral and written expression in English, as well as the self-confidence to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the company.

Your duties and responsibilities may vary, and will be determined by where the Manager, Human Resources sees the need for your assistance.

Some Of Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Temporary Staffing agency relations
  • Request additional temp workers
  • Track and submit hours; match up against invoice
  • Managing all training documents including Documentation of Training (D.O.T)
  • Ensure that everyone is up-to-date on their training and notify the Manager if missing documents
  • WSIB and injury management
  • Assist in the HR department as an Admin where needed.

  • Problem solving skills and the ability to find new solutions
  • Time Management: you can juggle multiple tasks, and you know when to ask for help and when you can manage on your own
  • An interest in learning new technologies
  • Willingness to learn about the processes and business requirements of the organization
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
