Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and deliver delicious drinks will contribute to our customers' overall experience.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for payments.
  • Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards before serving.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service for all customers.
  • Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient operations and provide support as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a barista is required.
  • Familiar with coffee brewing methods (espresso, pour-over, etc.)
  • Ability to work independently and maintain high standards in a fast paced environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices is a plus.
  • Strong math skills for cash handling and order processing are essential.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine passion for coffee and food service will enhance your success in this role.
