It offers smaller coverage amounts (typically $5,000–$25,000) and is easier to qualify for, as it requires no medical exam. Final Expense Insurance Calgary helps seniors and individuals find an affordable way to ease the financial burden on loved ones during a difficult time. Beneficiaries can use the payout flexibly for memorial arrangements or other immediate expenses.
Role Description
Support social media and brand growth, build automations and AI‑powered productivity tools, and deliver market research plus clean lead data to accelerate final‑expense insurance sales.

To give you a general Idea, but things would evolve as we are an early-stage start-up and building new things. So it's a fascinating phase to be part of, and the learning exposure would be immense.
Marketing
- Strategy on social media platforms focuses on creating a framework for multichannel customer acquisition.
- Create and execute monthly social media calendars across LinkedIn and Facebook.
- Write engaging short-form copy and design simple visuals (eg Canva or similar tools).
- Manage posting, community replies, and basic reputation monitoring.
- Build and maintain simple landing pages and lead magnets to drive conversions.
- Configure CRM sequences and automation for lead nurturing and follow-ups.
Technology & AI
- Prototype workflow automations and integrate with CRM.
- Evaluate and pilot AI tools for content generation, summarization, and lead triage.
- Build small internal tools or scripts to speed repetitive tasks.
- Support vendor selection and produce vendor comparison notes and ROI estimates.
- Document technical processes and run basic troubleshooting.
Business Analytics, Data Science & Research - Strategy
- Conduct primary and secondary market research (target segments, competitors).
- Develop surveys and tactics to support and inform marketing strategy
- Web-scrape public data for lead lists, industry indicators, and prospecting signals.
- Build and maintain a clean lead database (CSV/SQL) with source tracking.
- Produce weekly dashboards and short insight memos to guide outreach.
- Design A/B tests for campaigns and report results.
Must-have qualifications
- Currently studying or recently graduated, and also open to more experienced professionals keen to pivot into a new direction in their careers. If you are curious to learn more and then apply

- Comfortable working asynchronously, independently and documenting work.
- Basic proficiency in relevant tools per focus area or strong knowledge of various tools and systems

Hours, compensation, and logistics
- Hours: Flexible based on projects- Ideally part-time but open to full-time also
- Compensation: Competitive for part-time and freelance work; the range depends on location and experience.
- Location: Preferably Calgary, but remote work accepted; must be available for weekly check-ins (video calls) in Mountain Time. We are open to hiring English-speaking professionals from around the world. If you are a fit for this opportunity, then I don't think location is a concern.
