Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join our reputable team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with various vehicle systems, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers the opportunity to work with a wide range of automotive repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance tasks, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. Candidates with dealership experience and expertise in modern automotive technologies are highly preferred.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced tools to identify issues accurately.
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrain systems, suspension, brakes, shocks & struts, and wheel alignments.
  • Execute routine services such as oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and vehicle inspections to maintain optimal vehicle performance.
  • Repair or replace air brake systems, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), and other electronic modules with precision.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for disassembly, repair, and reassembly of vehicle parts.
  • Conduct auto body repairs and welding as needed to restore vehicle integrity.
  • Interpret technical schematics and repair manuals to ensure accurate repairs aligned with manufacturer specifications.
  • Maintain detailed records of repairs performed for each vehicle in accordance with dealership standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and recommending necessary maintenance or upgrades.

Experience

  • Proven experience or extensive background in automotive repair is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive diagnostics, electrical systems, powertrain components, transmissions, and engine repair—including diesel engines.
  • Familiarity with modern automotive technologies such as ADAS systems and auto estimating software.
  • Hands-on experience with, A/C repairs, wheel alignment, suspension work, brake repair, shocks & struts replacement, and tire service.
  • Proficiency in using schematics for troubleshooting complex vehicle issues.
  • Ability to work efficiently with hand tools and power tools while maintaining safety standards.
  • Excellent mechanical knowledge combined with customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction. This position offers a dynamic work environment where technical skills are valued and ongoing professional development is encouraged for continued growth within the automotive industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.24-$44.59 per hour
