Kama Restaurant is looking to grow our kitchen team, and we are currently hiring for the position of Day Prep Cook.

To be successful in this position, the applicant must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant kitchens

  • Experience with baking and dessert prep

  • Ability to handle a large prep load

  • Ability to work with both speed and consistency

  • Ability to work long shifts while standing

  • Proficiency in knife skills and operation of kitchen equipment

  • Understanding of food safety and cleanliness

  • Ability to communicate effectively with other staff

  • Positive attitude and a desire for growth
