Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Locksmith, based in Oshawa, ON. The Locksmith will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining locks, access control systems, and automatic door operators. Additional tasks include assessing and resolving security issues for commercial clients, cutting and replacing keys, and ensuring systems meet high-security standards. The role requires effective problem-solving and attention to detail, as well as excellent customer service while on-site.

Qualifications

• Expertise in locksmith tasks such as installing, repairing, and maintaining locks and high-security keys (Medeco / Mul-T-Lock)
• Experience with access control systems and automatic door operators
  (Micom, Ditec)
  installation and maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Knowledge of local safety and security standards; relevant certifications are an asset
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client locations within Durham Region
