Objective Of The Role:

In this position, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, reaching out to potential clients, and promoting our products or services to drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, passionate about sales, and motivated to meet or exceed sales goals.

Job Description:

  • Make outbound/prospecting calls and send emails to potential clients to generate leads and boost sales.
  • Identify and qualify potential clients through research and effective questioning techniques.
  • Schedule meetings with decision-makers for sales follow-up.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential clients, tracking all interactions and progress in the customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Present product information and benefits to potential clients, address objections, and highlight unique selling points.
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to optimize lead generation.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our product offerings, pricing, and market trends to effectively communicate value to clients.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and key performance indicators, consistently achieving monthly and quarterly quotas.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with prospects, establishing trust and credibility in the sales process.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and competitors to effectively position our products and differentiate our offerings.
  • Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts and reports to management, keeping them informed of progress and potential opportunities.
  • Continuously improve sales skills through training and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • College or University degree, or equivalent experience.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in direct/prospecting sales or a related field.

Key Skills & Attributes:

  • Proven experience in direct/prospecting sales with the ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and establish trust with prospects.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills with the ability to handle objections and close sales.
  • Ability to manage, lead, and track sales activities.
  • Highly motivated and goal-oriented with a proactive and competitive mindset.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and other sales tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in the industrial sector is an asset.
  • Bilingualism (advanced level French and English).
