Overview:

We're seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer to join our client's high-performing

team on a project focused on elevating the sports editorial content experience. If you're

passionate about sports, photography, and using cutting-edge technology to solve real user

problems, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

You'll be instrumental in building solutions that enhance how users search and discover editorial

images—particularly sports photography. Your work will help power engaging, efficient, and

relevant search results that deliver the right content at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and data scientists in an agile team

environment.

 Design and implement backend services using .NET technologies.

 Develop scalable services within Docker containers and deploy them to AWS (Azure

experience acceptable).

 Contribute to improvements in image search using Solr, vector search, and machine

learning models.

 Support experiments involving LLMs and chatbot experiences to improve search

intelligence.

 Maintain and evolve a robust, high-performance search infrastructure.

Qualifications:

 5+ years of professional software development experience.

 Strong expertise in .NET backend development.

 Experience with Docker and cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.

 Familiarity with search technologies (e.g., Solr, Elasticsearch, vector search).

 Exposure to machine learning, LLMs, or chatbot development is a plus.

 Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach to problem-

solving.

 Passion for sports or digital media is a big plus.
