Part-Time or Full-Time Dental Assistant

South Star Dental is an established family practice located in Windsor with a happy and loyal patient base and an excellent dental team dedicated to quality care.

We are currently in the process of a complete renovation both inside and outside of our office. Join our team and celebrate the next phase of our dental journey with us

We'd love to have you join us in this permanent, part-time or full-time dental assistant position. The ideal candidate will be a positive and enthusiastic team member that will provide quality dental care and promote oral health.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
  • Assist the dentist during various procedures
  • Take digital radiographs
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
  • Manage patient records using dental software
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

Skills

  • Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with strong knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
  • Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization processes
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team in a fast-paced environment
