As a Mechanical & Electrical Specialist at Graham, you will assist the management team with the following:Planning the MEiT components of a healthcare project and provide input into the scheduleProvide design and constructability input and reviews pertaining to mechanical, electrical and IMIT (Division 27 &28) systemsSupervise, coordinate and troubleshoot M&E and IMIT (Division 27 & 28) activities onsiteManage mechanical, electrical & IMIT (Division 27 & 28) contracts and sub tradesCoordinate with procurement teams to ensure schedule is maintainedFacilitate resolving emerging issues through effective collaboration between Engineers, Consultants and SubcontractorsCoordinate mechanical, electrical and IMIT (Division 27 & 28) trades with other scopes of workWork with multiple stakeholders to ensure project implementation is compliant to the output specifications and executed in a timely and efficient mannerReview MEiT subcontractor's submittals, ITPs, execution plans, QA/QC programs and provide input into the programsConduct regular inspections of MEiT scopes of work in conjunction with project stakeholdersLead regular project meetings to monitor and support the progression of building services and report findings to the Project TeamMentor other Project Team members to obtain knowledge and understanding of mechanical, electrical and IMIT systemsProvide assistance to the Project Team with regards to mechanical, electrical contracts & IMIT budgets, billing and invoicingProvide project direction and coordination for all commissioning and close out of MEiT systemsWork diligently to lead the commissioning process in conjunction with the Commissioning Agent, MEiT Subcontractors, Engineers and shadow consultantsEnsure as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and warranties are submitted to the client before project closeout Qualifications/Experience:
3+ years of relevant work experience in MEiT scopesHaving an Engineering Degree or Trade CertificationDesign-Build experience on complex healthcare projects would be a major asset particularly in Division 27 & 28 ScopesDetailed knowledge and demonstrated experience of MEIT building systems through design, construction and commissioning phasesExperience in construction & commissioning in the General Contractor's role on complex projectsExperience in construction & commissioning with Mechanical & Electrical (Division 26/27/28) Companies
Compensation:
- 95,000 – 110,000 per annum, commensurate with education and experience

- 3 to 5 weeks of vacation per year, with credit for prior industry experience
