Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service while handling transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage time efficiently will contribute to a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their inquiries.
  • Process transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical sales support for technology-related items.
  • Upsell products and services to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
  • Maintain an organized and visually appealing merchandise display.
  • Assist in inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally, ensuring resolution in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve store operations.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, particularly in English and other languages.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
  • Proficiency in technology sales, including the ability to conduct product demos.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in merchandising tasks.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.
