Conestoga Contracting Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Landscape Construction Foreman to lead our field crews in delivering high-quality outdoor living spaces.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a deep understanding of interlock installation, stone and wood patios, retaining walls, and other hardscape construction techniques. You'll oversee daily site operations, ensure precision craftsmanship, and maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

Job Duties:

  • Read and interpret construction drawings, site plans, and grade stakes
  • Own end-to-end management of all aspects of the job site, including excavation, layout, forming, grading, subbase compaction, and material installation.
  • Own training of new team members on all of the above if you notice a skills gap. You are the expert here. We expect you to hit the ground running and know how to do all of the above without asking for much assistance.
  • Lead a crew of 2–4 team members on a variety of landscape construction projects (e.g., pools, retaining walls, hardscape elements, including interlocking pavers, natural stone features, drainage systems, etc.)

Minimum Requirements for this role:

  • Must possess a valid FULL G-class driver's license and personal vehicle.
  • 3+ years of experience in landscape or hardscape construction, with at least 1.5 years in a foreman role.
  • Proven expertise in interlock installation, natural stonework, retaining walls, steps, and custom patio builds.
  • Strong understanding of excavation, slopes, grading, drainage, base preparation, and compaction techniques.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications accurately.
  • Competent in operating heavy equipment (loaders, skid steer, mini excavator, etc.).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
