Role Description

This is a part-time bilingual Behavior Therapist role based in Ottawa, ON with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work-from-home opportunities. The Behavior Therapist will work with children to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy techniques, monitor and document progress, and collaborate with caregivers and other team members to develop individualized treatment plans. Responsibilities will also include promoting positive behavior, supporting emotional regulation, and utilizing evidence-based strategies to achieve therapeutic goals.

Qualifications

  • Experience and knowledge in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Behavior Analysis
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Background in Psychology or related field
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with developmental needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and another language
  • Flexibility to work in both in-person and remote environments
  • Relevant certification or progress toward certification in ABA therapy techniques is an asset
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology, Behavioral Science, or related disciplines
