As a Senior Associate in RSM's Advanced Analytics and AI Consulting practice, you will help clients transform their businesses through the power of data, machine learning, and AI. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering end-to-end AI and analytics solutions, spanning data integration, modeling, visualization, and applied AI use cases.
This is a client-facing, technical consulting role that offers the opportunity to build hands-on expertise with modern cloud data and AI technologies while helping shape the next generation of intelligent business solutions. The ideal candidate combines technical skill, curiosity, and a consulting mindset, able to bridge data science with business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
You will collaborate closely with RSM's Advanced Analytics and AI Consulting team to:
Design, develop, and implement machine learning and AI models using Python, R, Azure Machine Learning, and Azure AI Services.
Support Generative AI and AI Agent projects, contributing to prompt design, data preparation, and model evaluation.
Conduct exploratory data analysis and build features to support model training and business insights.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with data and AI solution design.
Develop data pipelines and analytics solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and Synapse.
Build and maintain data visualizations and dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to communicate results effectively.
Contribute to project documentation, quality assurance, and testing, ensuring accuracy and scalability of deliverables.
Work collaboratively across teams, including Data Engineering, Digital Services, and Advisory, to deliver holistic client outcomes.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
3+ years of professional experience in data analytics, machine learning, or business intelligence solution development.
Strong proficiency in Python and/or R for data manipulation, modeling, and analysis.
Demonstrated experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred).
Familiarity with Azure cloud data services such as Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake, and Analysis Services.
Working knowledge of SQL and data integration processes.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative consulting environment.
Passion for using AI and advanced analytics to solve real business problems.
Ability and willingness to travel to the US will be required, including for client meetings and conferences
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Azure Machine Learning or Azure OpenAI Service.
Exposure to LLMs, prompt engineering, or retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
Experience with data modeling and modern data architectures.
Familiarity with MLOps, model evaluation, or model monitoring.
Experience working in cross-functional consulting teams or client-facing projects.

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $62,000 - $99,Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
