Job Title: Food & Beverage Associate
Location: Canada (Nova Scotia) 5* Hotel
Role Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service to all guests.
  • Handle food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks as per the menu and guest requests.
  • Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen, and beverage stations.
  • Assist in setting up and clearing tables for service.
  • Process transactions and handle cash or credit card payments.
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
  • Assist in training new staff on service procedures.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss performance and improvements.
  • Help in organizing events and catering services when required.
  • Engage with guests to enhance their dining experience.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in food and beverage service preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills in English.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling.
  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical stamina for standing and moving throughout the shift.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness.
  • Proficient in using point of sale (POS) systems.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
  • Commitment to ongoing training and development.
