The Diversity in Finance Network (DIFN) is a non-profit organization
dedicated to supporting undergraduate and graduate students in Canada by providing opportunities that are typically not available to them. We support traditional and non-traditional definitions of diversity, and seek to educate and up-skill students so they can compete with those who may have advantages. There are many different ways you can be disadvantaged, and we seek to support anyone who can demonstrate they need this opportunity.
Role Description
Our highly anticipated 5th Annual Diversity in Finance Conference is on January 22nd at CIBC Square
This year's presenting sponsor is CIBC Capital Markets, returning for a 4th consecutive year. This is a full-day, unpaid commitment.
The conference is open to students across Canada studying at a Canadian university or college. Our full-day event will expose students to a variety of panels, workshops, and networking opportunities with firms on Bay Street.
Qualifications
- Currently an undergraduate or graduate student at a Canadian university
- Passionate about finance and investing
- No work experience is necessary, but it's nice to have
- Demonstrated leadership and extracurricular involvement
- Strong academic record
For students outside of Ontario, please submit your application before December 1st at 11:59 PM ET. For all other students, please submit your application before December 23rd at 11:59 PM ET.
