Description

LiORA is seeking a motivated Account Manager with at least 3 to 5 years of work experience in environmental contaminated sites with a customer-facing focus.

  • The successful candidate will work with LiORA's Business Development team, along with the Operations group, to enhance relationships with their existing complex clients in a purposeful and impactful manner.
  • The mandate of this client-facing role is multifaceted. Primary focus will be to proactively retain, maintain, and grow the business through regular interactions with clients; including communications, supporting requests, delivering meaningful insights derived from the technology, conduct client deliverable meetings, and delivering technical training to client and consulting personnel (with support).
  • The Account Manager will serve as a liaison between the company and the customer, including their consultants. Strong communication skills and teamwork is a must.

Role Overview

  1. This role will carry a performance budget for identifying and selling new technology to our extensive existing client base and will appeal to someone who is solution-oriented and driven.
  2. The successful candidate will appreciate delivering value and results to our clients, while tracking the pipeline of opportunities within existing tools.
  3. This position combines light project management, strong key account management, and huge upside potential in sales revenue within our growing suite of innovative technologies.
  4. Previous environmental field experience and knowledge of environmental, particularly contaminated sites work.
  5. Ideally available in-office in Calgary or Saskatoon.

Location

This is a Calgary office-based role

Responsibilities


•     Client Management: working with the Director of Business Development to arrange timely meetings with clients, identify the goals / outcomes / opportunities for each project, and define project details for deployment and field tasks.


•     Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.


•     Understand client needs and provide solutions that align with their goals.


•     Clearly communicate the client objectives, scope applicable technology and prepare and gain sign off on cost proposal, as well as any scope changes. Ensure the cost framework for the technology for each project are updated as needed through the process.


•     Develop and follow efficient processes and workflows to enhance project delivery.


•     Review, edit, and deliver project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.


•     Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.


•     Provide technical training to clients and consultants, build out guides and tutorials – own the materials that support the consultants.


•     Ensure client satisfaction through regular meetings, communication, and follow-ups.

Professional Qualifications


•   Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field required.


•  Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in environmental contaminated sites, with a customer-facing focus.


•   Proven experience in a client-facing role with excellent communication and interpersonal skills required.


•   Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.


•   Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.


•   Sales experience and a track record of achieving targets is highly desirable.


•   Practical field experience in deployment of new technology.


•   Ability to inform where Science Team can provide technical training and design technical training content.


•   Working knowledge in the application of AI technologies to provide customer value.


•   Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
