Role Description/Skillset

We are seeking an experienced AWS Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable solutions on AWS. This role involves architecting cloud-native systems, ensuring best practices for security, performance, and cost efficiency, and collaborating with development and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures leveraging AWS services to meet business and technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams to design scalable and secure application environments.
  • Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure, including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Solution Architect or Cloud Architect, designing and deploying complex cloud solutions.
  • Strong understanding of AWS architecture frameworks, networking, IAM, security, and automation best practices.
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools such as CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK.
  • Experience with modern application stacks (e.g., , Python, Java) and microservices architecture.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular.
  • Strong experience with back-end technologies such as , Python, or Java.
  • Solid understanding of AWS services and best practices.
  • Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.

You must currently reside within Canada and have legal working status.
