Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, maintenance, and diagnostics, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of vehicle makes & models, utilizing advanced tools and schematics to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

Duties

  • Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs using hand tools, power tools and schematics
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections and fluid replacements
  • Repair or replace faulty components including engines, transmissions, brakes and electrical systems
  • Utilize welding skills for bodywork or structural repairs when necessary
  • Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and the use of heavy or power tools
  • Assist with vehicle assembly and disassembly during repair processes

Qualifications

  • Must be fully licensed with a valid driver's license
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment and schematics reading
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Experience with vehicle diagnostics and troubleshooting software is a plus
  • Knowledge of automotive repair safety standards and maintenance procedures
  • Must be good with computers
  • Must be a team-player yet able to work independently
  • Must be able to take initative
